DH 160 DENTAL RADIOLOGY 

This course is designed to introduce the student to the essentials related to the fundamental theories and clinical procedures necessary for the safe and effective use of radiographs in dentistry.  Topics will include principles of radiation health and safety, quality assurance, patient selection criteria, infection control protocol, along with the methods for exposing, processing, mounting and interpreting dental radiographs.   

 

Topics covered in lecture will prepare you for activities in the lab. It is important to complete all activities by the due dates in order to progress through this course.
