POSITIONING ACTIVITY
Accessing the Activity
Click on the activity button below to access the Pearson. Once on the website you will click on the Dental X-Ray Positioning Activity link and go through the activity. Each student will complete the activity and choose the email link to instructor. Each student must complete the activity with 75% or higher. You may complete this activity as many times as necessary to obtain a minimum of 75%.

Notice the radiograph on top. You will click on the PID on both the right and left images and drag to the proper position to expose the radiograph shown above.

You may click on the show teeth button so you may see the teeth more clearly. Once you have the PID positioned, click on the red activate button to expose.

You will have one of two images pop up after activiating the expose. This is an example where the PID was not properly positioned.
